The Science of the Red Planet

There's a triplet of planets between about 1.4 to 1.8 times the mass of Earth orbiting a red dwarf star every three to 13 days about 12 light-years from Earth. The planets were found by using the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher instrument at the La Silla Observatory in Chile.
